Kira Reed is an actress, Emmy® winner, and PGA producer who has worked in front of and behind the camera for over thirty years. After graduating UCLA’s School of Theatre, Film and Television, she has enjoyed a prolific career including acting in studio films and network TV shows, hosting and producing cable news magazine programs, and executive producing streaming film and television. Kira currently stars as acting teacher “Ellen” in the drama series Rumors, for which she won an Indie Series Award for Best Supporting Actress. As vixen “Jo Connors” on The Bay, Kira received a Daytime Emmy acting nomination and won two Emmys as a producer.  Kira’s latest movies include Acts of Desperation, Beckman and Love on the Rock. She is also featured in the critically acclaimed erotic thriller documentary We Kill for Love. Kira recently joined the cast of Odd Man Out and completed filming the feature Above the Break. Her best-selling book; SCORE: How to Win the Girl of Your Dreams is available in bookstores, Amazon and Kindle. Kira is a member of SAG-AFTRA, AEA, PGA, TVA, and NATAS. She spends her time giving back to numerous charitable groups through the Robert H. Lorsch Foundation and has served on the Board of Trustees of California Science Center and as President of The Thalians: Hollywood for Mental Health.
